Next Super pink moon will be the brightest and biggest full moon of 2020


The nest full moon will be a super pink moon. And on where you live in the world it will be visible and peaking on April 7 and 8. And it is expected to be the brightest supermoon of 2020.

But, this special moon comes at a time when millions of people across the world won’t be able to see it properly. Because they won’t have the freedom to travel to find a perfect spot to views the super-moon. But for our benefit, many cities have clearer skies because of millions of vehicles not being on the road. So, people will be able to enjoy the beauty of this moon while staying safely at their homes.

This super full moon will be visible after sunset and reach its peak illumination at 10.35 pm, EDT. This is the first full moon of the spring. It is also known as the Paschal Mon in the Christian calendar. And it is used to calculate the date for Easter.

But, the full moon won’t be an actual pink color. It will be its usual color. But it will brighter and bigger, especially when it is close to the horizon at moonrise or moonset.

According to the Farmer’s Almanac, it is said that the full moons are named after the seasons or events usually happening during the season. So the pink moon is named after the first spring flower called Wild Ground Phlox or Moss Phlox (Phlox subulata). It is a flower that is native to North America and these flowers often bloom around April’s full moon.
